What Is A Lifestyle Stewardship Capital Campaign?
“Lifestyle Stewardship” involves the process of developing yourself spiritually and economically so that you are able to contribute to building God’s Kingdom.
“LIFESTYLE STEWARDSHIP IS A SHARED SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE CHURCH FAMILY.”
How Much Should I Plan To Give?
King David declared, “I will not offer to God that which costs me nothing” (2 Samuel 24:24). David understood that the value of the gift presented to God is determined by its value to the giver.
The three keys to Lifestyle Stewardship are:
1. REASSESS OUR LIFESTYLE
During this spiritual journey, we are asked to take a close look at the different areas in our lives to discover a path to strengthen our relationship with God through our personal sacrifice.
2. REARRANGE OUR PRIORITIES
As we prayerfully consider our contributions, we are asked to reprioritize our lives in accordance to God’s will so that our sacrifice reflects our level of commitment to the growth of His Kingdom.
3. REALLOCATE OUR RESOURCES
As we individually and collectively shift our resources, it is important to remember that although we may be different in our ability to give, our willingness to do our part during this sacrificial giving commitment should be one and the same.
How Will The Money Be Used?
The money raised during our three year journey will be used to
(1) leave a legacy for future generations of The Grove,
(2) build and develop the Promised Land for a state of the art sanctuary with the necessary furnishings and equipment to worship God and execute ministry in our generation and the generations to come,
(3) renovate the current facility for our state of the art Next Generation Center to minister to our youth, children and community.
If you are a member, you are able to set up payments, make payments, check the status of your commitment giving and much more via our Accounting Church Systems (ACS) portal. It is secure and a great way for you to honor your three-year commitment.
If you are a visitor and would like to partner with us in the great venture for the kingdom of God, you can make individual donations securely to this effort via our PayPal link. We thank you for your partnership and love toward not just The Grove but a generation to come.

Being a part of the Lifestyle Stewardship Campaign has allowed us to put to use our passion for giving. We are especially excited about this campaign because it wasn’t just about raising money. But it is a campaign that teaches us HOW to give. It is not a hoax or a gimmick. Lifestyle Stewardship is a bible-based program that employs prayer, study and inward reflection to teach us HOW to give.
The bible says in Hosea 4:6 “my people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge.” Some of us don’t know how to give; we don’t see how giving is possible in this economy; we don’t recognize the blessings that come from giving; we don’t understand that giving is what God requires, just as he requires that we pray and worship Him. The Lifestyle Stewardship Campaign helps to grow in giving.
Just as the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, we can ask God to teach us how to give. And he will do it. As part of Lifestyle Stewardship, we learn through prayer and study, how to evaluate areas of your lives where we are wasteful, gluttonous or self-indulgent; and how to make adjustments in those areas so that we can give more to God.
Our hearts desire and prayer for Greater Piney Grove is that we not only raise the capital that we set out to raise, but that we raise our awareness of God through giving. And when the three years of the campaign are over, we will have grown to become a 100% TITHING CHURCH.

As I continue to give and serve, the Lord continues to grace me with great physical strength and spiritual awareness as I serve the kingdom. My house continues not to suffer lack of any kind, even in this time of recession; and I am able to continue to be a lender and not a borrower even though times in my house are tight. God continues to be faithful to His Word even as I do my best to be faithful to Him.

In my faithfulness to giving into the work of the Lord, I am continued to be blessed with not just a job, a home, a car, great health for me and my son, but even when I don’t see how ways are going to be made for a situation God continues to just make something just miraculously happen for me. I may give up on the situation but God is true to what He promised me that if I "Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness, all of these things will be added unto me..."
