The Love Center Food Pantry

The Love Center operates a self-shopping food pantry. At each visit, a household is given a shopping list appropriate for the number of people in the household, and the shopping list changes daily based on what The Love Center Food Pantry has in stock. Shoppers follow their list, choosing for themselves which items they would like, within the bounds of the shopping list. In addition to what is on the list, each household may choose three items from the choice shelves, which include food items and personal products. After a household is finished shopping, their groceries are bagged and, if needed, assistance is available to carry the bags to the car.

Thursdays, 2:00 pm -4:00 pm (1st 3 weeks of the month)

There is a brief application to be filled out on the first visit. After filling out the application and presenting the information below, you will be eligible for 3 month emergency service:

  • Bring a picture ID

  • Provide social security cards for each member of the household to be served

  • Verify proof of income

  • Visit during hours of operations above.

Each household will be issued a Love Center Food Pantry card that will need to be presented on subsequent visits.

How often is each family served?

A household may be served once a month based on the Head of Household last name. Our service schedule is based on the last name of the head of the household.
